    Position Description: The Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm (https://www.remickmuseum.org), located in the historic village of Tamworth, NH, seeks a Program Intern for the 2024 summer season. This position reports to the Program Manager and the successful candidate will aid in the delivery of nature and history-based educational programs for all ages – including classroom and homeschool groups, as well as summer visitors. The farm and garden experience is an integral part of the museum visit and the Program Intern should be comfortable operating garden tools, as well as handling, feeding, and working with small livestock.     Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older and have valid driver’s license. Must possess, or be working towards, a degree in education, history, environmental science, outdoor or experiential education, or other related fields. Current college or graduate students looking for professional experience are encouraged to apply for this summer position.

    Work Schedule and Compensation: The museum is open daily with programs scheduled from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The typical summer workday is 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and the 5-day schedule will be established with your supervisor. Compensation is $500/week plus shared, on-site seasonal housing.
