Manager of Volunteers and Interns
Location: Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, Massachusetts

Pay: From $50,000 per year
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday
Position Summary
Old Sturbridge Village (OSV), the largest outdoor living history museum in New England, seeks a dynamic and collaborative professional to lead, manage, and expand its Volunteer and Internship Programs. This full-time role combines the responsibilities of managing over 100 volunteers and 45+ interns annually, including high school, college, and post-graduate participants. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, community engagement, and fostering inclusive learning environments. This position plays a key role in supporting OSV’s mission and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), and will work closely with multiple departments to ensure meaningful, educational, and impactful experiences for all program participants.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Development

Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers, junior interns, and college/post-grad interns.

Build and maintain partnerships with local high schools, colleges, universities, and community organizations.
