AGRICULTURE AND LIVESTOCK PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Old World Wisconsin
Reporting to the Site Director, the Agriculture and Livestock Program Coordinator oversees all programs coordinating animal husbandry, agriculture, and horse-drawn transportation operations at Old World Wisconsin as key components of the guest experience. This includes creating, implementing, and evaluating program policies and procedures associated with the daily care and management of livestock; the use of historic and modern technology to plant, cultivate, and harvest heirloom varieties of field crops to support interpretive and program goals on reconstructed farm and village landscapes; and oversight of horse-drawn transportation programs associated with public and private events.
The Agriculture and Livestock Program Coordinator serves as the lead worker for part-time and seasonal staff and volunteers. This is a permanent, full-time State of Wisconsin position with benefits.
