Genesee Country Village & Museum is excited to announce a newly expanded Spring Historic Skills Conference and Fashion & Textile Symposium with the theme of Revolution, Resistance, & War. These four days of programming will feature expert talks by Ty Seidule, Neal Hurst, and Marvin-Alonzo Greer, hands-on workshops, and behind-the-scenes explorations of the textile vaults and exclusive access to Historic Village spaces typically closed to the public. Hands-on workshops include historic hairwork, tintype photography, historic cooking and baking, Civil War sewing, museum mount-making, bobbin lace weaving, Haudenosaunee raised beadwork, and more!
