Paper Flowers
Details: Many people now use artificial flowers to decorate their homes and offices--but did you know that we've been making "fake" flowers for centuries? In the 18th century artificial flowers were typically made from paper or cloth, and could be used to decorate their homes, clothes and even hats (in the attached image you can see a preserved 18th century paper flower!) In this class we will make two different varieties of flowers from easily-found types of paper, and there will be other patterns available for participants to experiment with as well.
Space is limited to 12 participants who must be aged 12 and up.
