Introduction to Small Scale Hay Making

Details: This course will introduce the hobbyist farmer to small scale hay making. Participants will learn different methods of harvesting and storing hay; ranging from cutting hay with a scythe, storing loose hay in a loft, and baling with a historic hay press. Participants will also receive a kit to make their own hay rake.
