Handcut Dovetails
Details: The dovetail joint is a traditional method used by cabinetmakers to join the ends of two boards together. It is often used in the construction of boxes, drawers, and case furniture. This workshop will cover applications for dovetail joinery, procedures for working safely with hand tools, and time-honored techniques for laying-out and cutting dovetail joints.
Price: $105 museum members; $130 nonmembers, + $15 materials fee
