Hanford Mills Museum seeks a Mill Interpretation and Research Specialist to work with the senior staff team on a variety of projects related to the site’s historic water- and steam-powered Mill complex. This two-year, grant-funded position will include an annual salary of $30,000-$35,000 with a competitive benefits package. The position will begin in March 2020.
Responsibilities: The Mill Interpretation and Research Specialist will be responsible for researching and thoroughly documenting the Mill’s collections, operations, processes and maintenance practices; benchmark best practices at other operating historic sites; actively interpret the site; and work to improve public and research access to the Mill’s collections and documentation.
