    Full time Position, $30,000:   Available April 2017

    Qualifications Motivated, outgoing, career-minded staff person with woodworking experience, and a passion for history, historical hand tools and techniques.  Some teaching, acting, or (ideally) first person interpretive experience or interest, is desired.  Your attention to detail and ability to work either independently or with others will be especially appreciated.

    Duties will include:

      14th century timber framing / wattle & daub construction

      Using and making historical hand tools

      Making period furnishings (tables, benches, beds, and other furnishings)

      Some conventional construction, building and site maintenance

      First-person woodworking demonstrations for visitors

      Could include blacksmithing (depending on your interest)

     We can train you and provide tools and equipment.

    Vehicle required (we are not on a bus line).

    Compensation negotiable: $30,000 or more annually, depending on experience.
