Join us as we cultivate historic interpretation at Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park.  At the park we utilize the historic York farm which was in use by the York family from 1919 until 1984, the historic Wolf River Gristmill, constructed in the 1880s, and the York Home built in 1923, as well as an array of other historic structures across the park. 

This position will work closely with the Seasonal Site Supervisor to plan historic, cultural, and/or natural programming to offer our visitors during their 3-month term.  The candidate will also assist with the daily tours of the historic York Home.  Candidates will also need to be in communication with our Regional interpretive specialist to meet their requirements for the season, as well as the Americorps directors for our region to complete any necessary paperwork for their term of service. 

The pay for this position works out to $15.75/hr, but is paid as a living allowance bi-weekly.  There is also an education award that is paid out upon the successful completion of the Americorps service term in the amount of $1824.07.  There is free on-site housing available.
