My name is Jessica Michonski. I'm a recent college graduate who is looking for employment in historic agriculture.
I graduated from Wilmington College of Ohio in May 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Agriculture and History (double-major). I've done several research papers on agricultural history - including the history of animal nutrition in the US and the revival of draft power on farms in the 21st century.
I've completed two summer interpretation internships - one at Howell Living History Farm and one at Old Sturbridge Village. Both focused on agricultural interpretation, and OSV's had a research component. I've been involved in ALHFAM since 2015; my most recent contribution being a presentation at the 2017 Annual Meeting at Genesee Country Village (WANTED: Young Employees)
I would prefer full-time employment as an agricultural interpreter in the Mid-Atlantic region, but I'm willing to look at part-time, seasonal and contract work as well.
